ANOGYRA VILLAGE

Nestled on the southern slopes of the Troodos mountains, overlooking Pissouri Bay, Anogyra Village is a picturesque spot just a few kilometers off the Lemessos-Pafos highway. For centuries, this village has been surrounded by carob orchards and is famed for its unique carob-based products, especially pasteli—a natural, nutrient-rich treat known as the "Black Gold" of Cyprus. During WWII, it sustained countless families across the island.

TO "PARADOSIAKON"

This family business is running for 40 years now, conveying the traditional art of the brand Pasteli as inherited.

Witness the intricate and labor-intensive process behind this beloved Cypriot sweet.

*Follow the process of the most iconic cheese in the world-halloumi.

Halloumi cheese is considered the pre-eminent Cypriot cheese, a PDO product. A hand written document of 1556 by the Doge Leonardo Dona, testifies that the famous Cyprus cheese was known before the conquest of the island by the Turks in 1571. The owner of the workshop is ready to demonstrate us the traditional method of production, and enjoy a rich breakfast with fresh dairy products.

OLEASTRO OLIVE PARK

As the saying goes, “where the olive tree stops, the Mediterranean ends”. The olive tree sets the geographic boundaries of the Mediterranean. The Olive Oil Museum, unique in Cyprus, features olive oil extraction methods of the past (millstone, olive press) and various items related to the storage and uses of the olive oil as well as its history.

A visit at the Oleastro olive park will enlighten you on everything you need to know about olives and olive oil.

“ANARGYRIS”

Relax with an organic, fragrant herbal tea amidst beautifully landscaped gardens. At Anargyris, you can also learn how to make handmade soap using olive oil, explore the distillation process, or awaken your senses by crafting your own perfume with luxurious essential oils.

DOMAINE NICOLAIDES(*Uppon early request)

This boutique winery, set in the heart of Anogyra, has been a family affair for three generations. Passion, tradition, and scientific expertise converge here to create award-winning wines. During your visit, you’ll enjoy a tour of the winery, followed by a tasting session featuring wines from cosmopolitan grape varieties.
